Cairo - Mubasher: The consolidated net profits after tax of Edita Food Industries hit EGP 1.01 billion in the first half (H1) of 2025, marking an 18.85% surge from EGP 856.28 million in H1-24.
The EGX-listed company generated sales amounting to EGP 9.24 billion as of 30 June 2025, an annual jump from EGP 7.98 billion.
Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) climbed to EGP 1.02 in H1-25 from EGP 0.87 in the corresponding period of 2024.
In the second quarter (Q2) of 2025, Edita recorded higher consolidated net profits after tax at EGP 587.90 million, compared with EGP 353.48 million in Q2-24.
Net sales increased to EGP 4.96 billion in April-June 2025 from EGP 4.06 billion a year earlier, whereas the EPS grew to EGP 0.60 from EGP 0.35.
Standalone Business
Edita achieved EGP 938.78 million in non-consolidated net profits after tax during the January-June 2025 period, versus EGP 723.99 million in H1-24.
Non-consolidated sales reached EGP 7.34 billion in H1-25, up year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 6.43 billion. Meanwhile, the basic and diluted rose grew to EGP 0.96 from EGP 0.73.
In Q2-25, the standalone net profits after tax amounted to EGP 563.58 million, whereas the sales stood at EGP 4.01 billion.
